Better Then Expected

Well February is among us. The days seem to be getting slightly longer each week which is awesome. Superbowl 43 has been played, and despite not caring too much about either team in the game it did keep me glued to my seat with one of the best final quarters I have ever seen in a football game. Larry Fitzgerald with a ridiculous 105 yards and two touchdowns on 6 receptions after being shut down for three quarters of the game. One off the single most dominate performances in a Superbowl all in the last 12 minutes. He could have been the first MVP to be on the loosing team. I have to say that I would have preferred to see the Cardinals hold on after that last touchdown with just over two and a half minutes left in the game, but "Big Ben" looked a lot more composed in this time around compared to his dismal performance in his first go round in the big game. Marching the ball down the field and securing his second Superbowl victory with a toe-tapping, finger-tip grabbing touchdown pass to Superbowl MVP Santonio Holmes with just 35 seconds left in the game. Scary to see what his career is going to look like when it is all said and done. 27 years old with quite the core of players around him on both sides of the ball. We don't want him to surpass Brady, but he sure looks better then Peyton Manning to me. Now we'll just have to hold tight till next year, to see if Pittsburgh can get their hands on another Lombardi Trophy and get the ever coveted title of "Dynasty"...
