Can't Believe its mid-May

Some time has passed since I have last posted and lots of things have happened or not happened... The not being that David Ortiz is Homerless at this point of the season and is close to if not already passed his longest streak of at bats without one. Not to mention he tied Trot Nixon's record with 12 runners left on base last night in a 12 inning game with the Angels. As much as I love the guy for all he has done its at a point where the Sox have to do something about his lack of power and production. The Bruin's season came to an end last night with an overtime loss to the 'Canes in the 7th game of the 2nd round of the playoffs. A bit disappointing, but considering where this team was a couple of years ago it was a great year. The more experienced team got the best of them that's all. With there core young players locked up for the next few years there is at least some promise for the future. All this said, Thanks for the great season B's. The Celtic's are set to play game 7 against Orlando Sunday for the right to face King James and the Cav's for a shot at the NBA Finals. Considering that KG missed 24 games and all the Playoffs so far and Leon Powe going down in the first round of the playoffs you have to be impressed with their heart. I have a feeling if the win the next game we may see KG back despite all the media reporting he is done for the year. Just seem weird that a guy who needs to have surgery has not had it yet. If this injury was as bad as they're saying wouldn't you want to get the rehab ball rolling. As embarrassing as this is if the C's loose the only thing I really have to look forward to next week is that my pick for American Idol Kris Allen goes all the way. It was sad to see that America picked Adam Lambert to go against him in the finals over Danny Gokey. Maybe I'm the crazy one but all that guy seems to do is yell like a Bangui and the judges love him.

The Season has taken the turn

Finally feels like Spring maybe here. I can't even begin to tell you how excited this make me. It rained the other day and had that feeling that it ma have been one of those really awesome late March early April snow storms that are nothing but a big pain in the ass. Been a while since I have been able to post anything with how busy I have been at work. Since the last post I have age'd one more year and now am a Whooping 32 years old. I have also been fully involved in watching as much March Madness as I can. My Bracket is doing awesome! I have all four team in the Final Four, and if Michigan State (Go Spartans) can win it all against 'Nova I'll be the Office Champ bringing home over $600. I'm also in 7th place right now on the WEEI.com Tournament Challenge and if I pull a win in that I'll be winning a cruise. Doing really good considering I put very little thought into my picks other then who I was putting in the Final Four.

Thanks for the Memories Curt!

After 5 great seasons, 2 World Series and 1 Bloody Sock Schilling is calling it quits. Thanks for the great memories Curt. It was always great hearing you sound off on the Yankees and it is great to know that there is someone out there who plays for the game more then the money. It's too bad last year didn't play out a little different so we could of enjoyed what should be a sure fire Hall of Fame Career for one more season. We here in New England will always hold you in high regard. http://bugsandcranks.com/38pitches/sports/boston/baseball/curt-schilling/general/calling-it-quits/

What a weekend...

What a great weekend. Spent a little time with the lady, went to a Movie (I Love You Man) and had some Chinese food from Greenleaves in York witch is always well worth it. Celtics got KG back and he is looking just as good as always. I'm in good standing in my Tourney Brackets in the Office and have a solid chance on winning it all if MSU and Villanova make the Final Four and as long as UNC doesn't go any further then the Final Four (1st year since I can remember I haven't picked my beloved Tar-Heels to go all the way). Need less to say its hard to get in the work groove with after such a great weekend. I love this time of year: the weather is getting warmer, birds are chirping in the morning, March Maddness is in full swing, not to mention the home stretch for the NBA and the Red Sox getting ready to make another run for it all.

Happy Friday...

Well it seems like my time to Post has been cut don substantially since I have taken my new position at work. I have no time for anything it seems anymore. Fills my day at work and has me thinking about work and what I can be working on well I'm not there. You would think with this much more to do that the money would be pouring in, but with this restructure they have us under at work it could be a huge pay cut... Unless Goals are hit. Working in advertising in the current market it makes it really hard to hit goals. After this month I should have a better understanding on how this new pay method will work. Looking at my monthly forecast and seeing what my goal is for this month it doesn't look like I have a chance. If this trends for the whole year, well then I just took a 15,000 pay cut, to work 100 times harder. Oh well, got to love Corporate America. Could be worse, I could be one of the many that are getting Laid-off and have no Job at all. Lets just say I'm looking forward to 5pm to put all this behind me for a couple of days, and then hit it hard again on Monday.

Can you Hear it?

Train Horns

Created by Train Horns

This is a High Frequency Hearing Test. They say it can only be heard by people younger then 25. Places like the Mall supposedly use this in the background to keep young people fom soliciting. It gets more and more annoying the longer you hear it. I'm 32 and I was still able to hear it... Maybe this is hy I hate going to the Mall so much?

What a week! Celt's vs Cav's tonight!

First week in my new position at work. It has kept me extremely busy. Monday-Wednesday I felt as if I had accomplished nothing. Like running in a circle, but come Thursday I started to pick up the new things a bit better and now things are going a bit smoother. I'm just glad the weekend is here and I'll be able to spend some time with my Girlfriend and relax, and go at this again next week with a better understanding on how to manage my time, and what to focus on. Other then spending time with the Lady, I'm also really looking forward to the Celtics vs Cav's tonight. This game is huge, more so for the Cav's then the C's in my opinion. They're the defending Champs and the did take down the Cav's last year in 7 games in the Eastern Conference Finals, all be it we did have the home court which I feel is more important for the Cav's to gt by the C's this year. This being said the game is HUGE for both Teams, the Cav's have a slight advantage I think with KG out. He has missed the last 2 weeks with a sore knee, and was expected to miss 2-3 weeks. I have not heard if he will be back, but if he is close to being ready I'm sure he'll be out there. As stated before this game is too big, and he is a Warrior, and he won't miss it i he can.
